1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, use our services, or communicate with us. This includes:
- Account information: Name, email address, company name, and password when you register.
- Workspace data: Research mission configurations, onboarding selections (industry, audience, goals), and deliverable preferences.
- Uploaded data: Customer data files you upload for behavioral analysis, including any personally identifiable information contained within those files.
- Usage data: How you interact with our platform, including pages viewed, features used, and research missions initiated.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and access timestamps.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the DARG Intelligence platform and its behavioral analysis capabilities.
- Process your research missions and generate behavioral intelligence reports.
- Analyze uploaded customer data against our proprietary behavioral segment taxonomy to produce insights.
- Send you service-related communications, including mission completion notifications and account updates.
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats.
- Improve our behavioral models and segment classification accuracy in aggregate, anonymized form.
3. Data Processing and Behavioral Analysis
DARG uses AI-powered agents to analyze data you provide and generate behavioral intelligence. When you upload customer data or initiate a research mission:
- Your data is processed through our secure agent pipeline to classify behavioral segments, identify cognitive bias patterns, and generate actionable insights.
- Uploaded customer data is mapped against our proprietary 15-segment behavioral taxonomy using embedding-based classification. Raw uploaded data is not shared with other customers.
- Research mission outputs (behavioral briefs, segment profiles, geographic overlays) are stored in your workspace and are accessible only to authorized members of your account.
- We may use anonymized, aggregated patterns derived from analysis across all customers to improve the accuracy and quality of our behavioral models. Individual customer data is never identifiable in these aggregated patterns.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: We work with third-party providers for hosting (cloud infrastructure), authentication, payment processing, and AI model inference. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by contractual data protection obligations.
- Agency workspaces: If you use DARG as part of an agency workspace, your agency administrator may have visibility into workspace-level activity and deliverables. Client data within an agency workspace is scoped to that specific client engagement.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Research mission outputs and uploaded data artifacts are retained within your workspace indefinitely unless you delete them.
Uploaded customer data files are processed and the raw files are retained for 90 days after upload to support re-analysis and troubleshooting. After 90 days, raw uploaded files are permanently deleted. Derived artifacts (segment mappings, behavioral profiles) are retained as part of your workspace data.
If you close your account, we will delete your personal information and workspace data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
- Role-based access controls and session-based authentication via secure, httpOnly cookies.
- Isolated processing environments for customer data analysis.
- Regular security assessments and dependency audits.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you become aware of a security vulnerability, please contact us immediately at security@darg.ai.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information held by DARG.
- Export your workspace data and research mission outputs.
- Restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@darg.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
DARG Intelligence is a business-to-business platform not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of DARG after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
